I need someone to install a shelf in my wardrobe on top of the rail just like the ones down there. You’ll need to provide the wooden piece as well. I took a picture of the other ones. If it’s light wood colour, it doesn’t need to be painted. If it’s dark, painted white would be nice. I have the measurements in the picture. It will need the be narrower so 96x30-35 would be enough. The size of the garden is 3.6 x 7m. This is a highly UN-skilled job so give me a realistic offer. This job is aimed for a regular labourer on the standard £50-70 day rate. I need 2 coats, each coat takes about 3-3.5 hours to apply so I work it out to a full day of work in total. With the sanding of the fence I will round the work up to about 1.5 days of work I will pay for the varnish separately so we don't use cheap crap, this task is for the labour. I want all the woodwork treated with weatherproof varnish. That includes the door/gate and all support posts. Do you think you recognise the brand/colour? I want the same stuff used. I want all sides of the wood to be varnished/treated not just the angles we see in this photo. I am naturally talking about painting the wood from outside too. I will talk to the neighbour to get you permission to go into his garden. Please look at the top right section in the birds eye view photo. It was covered by vegetation so it was never treated. Would you recommend sanding that section before treating it with varnish? Please look at the small bit of brick wall in the top left of the picture, it is just to the left of the garden gate. There are a couple of small doors behind it in the first photo. I want those to be varnished/treated too. If you go out of the garden gate you will find the bin shed where the two doors are. There is a wooden table in the garden, heavily weathered. Would you like to sand it and then varnish it? Let me know and we can discuss money to do that.
