This is a one-time project which can be done from home, or anywhere quiet, with the possibility of future projects, for BRITISH NATIVES only (at the moment). I’m recruiting on behalf of a Chinese company who are doing a study on British intonation and speech patterns and how they vary according to regional accents. You speak 450 sentences (one by one) into the microphone of your phone, using the company’s app, and then submit them for quality evaluation (takes 1-2 days) if approved (very rarely not approved if you’re careful to make your recordings of good quality) you’ll be paid £20. The recordings take about 1.5 hours. If you’re interested, please contact me, I can answer any questions or provide you with more information. They’re looking for about 1000 people. The app is available on the Apple store.
I am a musician and audio engineer, so I understand what's needed in terms of lead time, silence at end, not cutting off the speech and speaking clearly. I could record these professionally with a high quality condenser mic w\popshield and submit wavs, if requested. Otherwise I'll be happy to do via phone. I own a Google Pixel 2 Xl
