Hi Jason. I may be interested in this task. I’m a keen mountain biker and own a Gocycle. I have fitted a shimano e kit to to a friends bike and was happy with the results. It is a fiddley and time consuming job and needs to be done to specific parameters as the battery technology is very sensitive. Questions. What manufacturer and model kit have you bought? Do you have a dry well lit garage to work in? Is it a centre hub drive kit? How old is your Johnny Loco bike? Is the kit compatible and New? I’m based in Brighton where I have a unit but stay in Maida Vale for London clients.
