Hi there, I'm looking for 9 bespoke pinatas in quite a tight turnaround. They need to look like celebrities and be around 60cm tall. It's a fully paid job - does anyone know of anyone who works with papermache or makes made to order pinatas?

Hi Emily, I'm an artist, I make hats among many other textile works. I use papier maché in my hat-making process and think I would really enjoy this task. I have a totally free calendar from the 9th November and I live in East London. I could work on the designs and finalise a schedule by the 9th and then begin production on the 10th. I've got plenty of contacts for makers who can help out too if need be. Let me know if you're interested and would like to see more images of my work. I've attached one example of a hat with a papier maché base. Best wishes, Ilana
Hi Emily, This seems like a very fun task and I would love to help you get the the piñatas you need. I was raised and born in México. So I grew up making hundreds of piñatas and I used to be an Art teacher so I really know my way around paper mache. Please let me know if you would be interested. Thanks for your attention.
I´ve done a lot of papier maché while doing art workshops for people with disabilities in Barcelona, I´m sure I can do the task on your budget, but you should pay for the materials (they are not expensive).
Hi Emily, What celebrities should the piñatas look like? Just the head would be ok?
Thanks Marco - I didn't realise you have to accept the job on here before talking about the brief. I'm really sorry but without being able to see your work I can't really accept the job. Thanks for your interest anyway
We can talk about the brief through the app , or you can accept the job and then if it is impossible to come to an agreement the task does not need to be carried out (obviously before any work starts ) and we can show in good faith that due to changing requirements it was not possible to carry the task. It just however impossible to discuss bilaterally off the app before accepting the party offer. It is community guidelines and way for airstasker not to be disengaged
Hi Emily, Firstly, I've raised my offer as I noticed AirTasker take a large cut. I can work to a smaller budget but of course will offer a more basic service. I am happy to do 9 full day's work on the initial budget, the extra budget would provide 2 or 3 days to provide a good finish on all pieces. I'm happy to negotiate further, just let me know your thoughts. I'm an artist, I make hats among many other textile works.
