Details

We need part of our kitchen benchtop, which currently serves as a breakfast bar, to be removed. It's a laminate bench. If possible, the end should then be trimmed and fitted with a dark (gray) edge strip.

Hi, Would be happy to do this for you next week, Wednesday if that works for you. I have the tools and expierence required to do a neat and professional job. Can you advise do you have the edging strip or would I need to source that? If so do you happen to know the make of worktop and the colour. Thanks Leo

Hi Leo, Are you available on Wednesday morning? I have had a look round for an edging strip that's suitable, but have not had much luck - it's like a brown-ish faux marble pattern. But I am not too fussed about whether it matches perfectly - we'll put a fridge in place, so you won't really see the edging strip much. If you can source something, that would be great - we'll obviously pay for that in addition to the £33/hour. I can send you some pictures, including a close up of the bench top if you'd like to get a better idea of the job? Cheers, Ans

Hi Ans, Yeh that’s perfect I have pencilled you in for first thing Wednesday morning. A picture would be great if that’s possible, as you say it won’t be too visible but I will try and match it as much as I can. Thanks Leo

Great - I will have to get back to you with a picture later this afternoon, but I will accept your offer, so it's locked in ;-)
