There is no broadband signal between the sockets in different rooms. Needs checking and fixing if necessary

Ok thanks that's specific enough. The problem is probably that you're plugging you airport to a phone/broadband socket which both use small RJ11 cable used for wan connectivity. In your case you would need a network RJ45 cable connection between your main router and your airport. The cable differed in the number of wires inside and therefore one can not be used for the other.

Are the room close enough to run a new cable through (is it possible to get a path throug)…?

Ive moved to a new flat and activated my BT broadband. All is working perfectly fine. But my Apple AirPort Extreme is located in the other room and needs to be wired to work as an signal extender and Media drive There is no signal between the rooms when I plug my ROUTER to the broadband socket in one room and my Apple AirPort in the other room. I suspect the wireing is not connected or does not exist.

Hi Sardorius. No problem at all. Could you just explain in a bit more details what the problem is. When you say no broadband between socket. Is it no network connection on some network socket or are you trying to connect a router in a phone socket but you get nothing? Thanks. Kevin
