Door latches doesn't catch and a leaking sink

The striker (latch) is slightly out of alignment with the strike plate on 3 doors in my apartment so they do will not properly lock. They probably just need a little bit of adjustment of the strike plate. I also have a kitchen sink which is leaking a little bit, which probably just needs a new washer or tightening up.
