Hi mate, you still need the fuseboard changing? To be honest with you, £300 wouldn’t even cover labour cost for the board change and test. Any decent qualified electrician wouldn’t change, test and cert a new fuseboard for less than £450-£550 that’s including the cost of a new board all mcb’s/RCD’s/RCBO’s needed depending on the size of the board and how many circuits it has in total. This could eventually lead on to other scopes of work depending on the results of the inspection an test once the new board is fitted for example if there are any unsatisfactory readings or results which result in a failure of the test you would have to pay for it, get it rectified and corrected and then pay for somebody to test it again and complete the new cert etc. If there’s room to negotiate a price then I would be more than happy to help. Hi, I run my own business (MUSH Electrical) and have the qualifications to do the job as requested. My company specialises in new DB boards and testing with the required certification provided as requested. Have you bought the new consumer unit & RCBOs required for the flat or would those have to be supplied in your requested pricing? Where is the DB board located?
