Thanks for the info Deepak. I mainly work weekday evenings so no need to take time off work. No availability this weekend I'm afraid. Depending on how much of a fight the post bases in need of removal put up, I may need to do this over 2 evenings. I will be available on the evenings of 16-18 July (next Monday to Wednesday), and possibly Friday the 20th as well. Need to mention though: - I don't have a van either, so the Wickes delivery is a good idea. You might save a bit of money though by calling PJ Supplies' Bromley branch - the prices and quality are good, and the delivery is cheap! - I won't be able to dispose of the old panels or concrete, although I can cut the panels up to make them manageable for you. - I'll be away from 24 - 31 July inclusive - if the above dates aren't suitable for you, I've be happy to do it any time after 1st August. If you're amenable to this, and are happy with my profile etc, please do assign the task and we can excahnge details, sort out date and time etc. Hope to speak to you soon Regards, Mike

Questions(1)

Hi Deepak, This sort of job is right up my alley. Do you already have the replacement panels and post? Also, can you tell if the post was set in concrete, or just a spike? Kind regards, Mike

Hi Mike, Fence post are all wooden. One post has a spike which was poorly fixed with a little bit of concrete - which will need to be dug out. Yet to purchase the materials. Don't have a van so happy to repay the cost of materials + delivery or I could get it delivered by wickes during next week.

Best to dig out and set properly in concrete - just one more thing before I put an offer in - how many posts are in need of replacement?

3 posts I think.
