Hi Rachael There’s no guarantee of absolutely no damage to the plasterboard however it will be at the very minimum that’s logically possible. Circular saw is not appropriate for this task I would use a multi tool with a wood blade to get the most precise cut that is achievable The offcut May be joined back at a later stage if required

Thank you for your quote Roy.I've attached an image of the window recess and skirting board. When I ordered the blinds, I made a mistake as didn't realise the skirting board would prevent the aluminium rails from sitting flush against the recess. The only way around it I can see, would be to somehow remove the skirting board in this section? But we are not sure if this can be done without it all looking a bit of a mess - do you think this can be done neatly?

Hi rachel I can install the blinds and cut the skirting neatly to the exact dimensions of the rails I’m based in Bethnal Green have got availability tomorrow if that works
