I need a hand rail fixed to an internal wall in my building. It is for one flight of stairs up to my front door. I would like the space to be measured and the rail/fixings sourced as I am clueless at that sort of thing!

Will you need to measure up first or get a longer rail and cut to size?
I can come and measure tomorrow morning or Saturday or Monday and then go to get the rail but I expect it will be around 22 feet or 3.6 metres long which is pretty much a standard size and then I can cut any excess of if needed let me know which works best for you the cost is about £45 plus the firings

Hi, It will have to be Monday, from 5pm onwards as that is better for me. Just to confirm, the £45 you have quoted is the total price, including parts and labour, as I will have to adjust the budget I had set down from £70 before accepting?

No I have to quote separately for labour and parts because Airtasker take 25% so the price would have to be a lot higher if everything went through Airtasker to help you out I can change my quote to £55 for you but the parts will be charged separately tomorrow I’ll get an accurate price for parts before you decide
I forgot I have some time tomorrow evening so I can come and measure up then if that suits you

Hi Ricardo, Thanks for replying! I am free most evenings and get home from work by 5pm, so would be happy for you to come and measure up beforehand, but for the actual work, I would prefer to be there as it is a communal area and my next day off is Friday 20th July, failing that then Saturday 28th July.
