As a co-founder of Feast It, I’m always on the prowl for the best dishes in the country to join our catering booking platform. From food trucks to Michelin star restaurants, we work with them all, as long as the food & drink is amazing. That's a whole lot of grub!

However, with the explosion of fantastic food across the capital our team are struggling to stay on top of all of the new flavours out there! That and our ballooning waistlines.

Nothing has blown up in quite the same way as vegan food over the last 12 months, from smashed avocado to Southern Fried Seitan Burgers dripping in sauce, our clients can’t get enough of all things vegan. So I’ve decided to ask a tasker to do the legwork for us, and decide on the best vegan dish in London! Don’t worry though, we aren’t asking you to dine alone, feel free to bring a friend if you like.

We need a passionate foodie to traipse across London, gorging on the best vegan dishes money can buy, to once and for all compile London’s ultimate top ten. You’ll have a bottomless pit of a stomach and a real passion for food. Flexitarians, weekend bacon eaters, and full-time carnivores, want to find out what all the fuss is about?

Task details:
- Eat 10 vegan dishes that we shortlist, over a weekend
- Write a review on each of the dishes you have tried
- Take a picture of yourself with each dish
- Compile it all into the perfect guide to London’s vegan scene
- Get paid £500 + expenses for the food
- Please submit your application by Wednesday 25th April 2018

I work as a food writer for BBC Good Food.
I taste food in our test kitchen and adapt it accordingly so I’m prepped and ready to eat and scrutinise. I’m also a trained chef so I have a discerning palette.
I write vegan recipes and eat vegan food on a regular basis, I wrote the majority of recipes for our veggie/vegan Christmas magazine.
I’ve already tried a fair few vegan places in London already and will be able to make a good comparison between the options.
I’m also a quick and efficient writer and will get the copy back to you speedily.

Thanks for the update Digby! :) Out of curiosity, are you looking for someone to give a review from a vegan's perspective, or someone who has never attempted to eat vegan but likes food that makes a person smile?
Thanks for the update Digby - looks like you've got a great response!
Hi, I’m new to Airtasker but when I came across this opportunity almost by chance I knew I wanted to apply straight way! I love food, fast food, healthy food, sweets, sandwiches, steaks... It makes me happy. BUT I recently became a vegetarian, over 3 months ago in fact, which has changed my eating habits immensely. I did it for ethical reasons, I feel a pigs and cows are as emotionally capable as dogs and cats- I didn’t like the hypocrisy. I was a little behind the trend and finally discovered chickpeas, quinoa and aubergine like never before. I now have a bit of a taste for these healthy alternatives, and want to discover more! My aim is to work in the media some way or another- I recently finished an internship as a researcher at a TV production company, I’m doing freelance articles for a (kinda crappy) online magazine, but being between jobs means I’m spending mostly a lot of time with my cat. I’d really love to do something like this and I hope I’d be good at it if I was given the chance. I’m living in London, but only for the last few months, so everything’s still very exciting and new. Thank youuuu! 🥑🌶🌽
I'm a vegan food blogger - check meowt. /glossopharyngeal_approved. I live in central london and i'm off school for the summer with plenty to do.
