Hi Leo, many thanks for your interest but the price you quoted is on a higher side. I have gardeners locally who work for £10 an hour but all are booked on the day I need this work done. Best I can offer is £10/- an hour and job shouldn’t last for more than 4hrs as even not being a professional I could get garden in a perfect shape in less than 4hrs. The other offer is flat £50/- but that will require an additional task of relocating/planting few plants. Let me know if and what works for you I.e £10/- per hour or flat £50 for 4-5 hours of work. Also I would need your advice on the day/date considering rainy weather. Do you think we should plan this for April? (Last year I did it in mid April) Thanks

Hi Rb, unfortunately I charge 15/hr as my standard rate so 4hrs work would be £60, then due to site fees and the fact that I'm not that local to you I added 15. Even with my above quote I only walk away with 61. I hope you understand. Leo

Looking at the weather. When do you think will be the best to prepare garden for summer?

Hi Rb, If you just need the garden tidied up, nothing new planted, then you can work on it from now. However, you want a good dry day to allow the lawn to be raked, spiked and mown. First cut should only be a light pass and then depending on health of lawn I would spike, spread sand and topsoil and some seed if needed. Thanks Leo

Thanks Leo. It seems we will have to wait few more weeks as do need lawn mowed too. I will reach out closer to the time.

No worries Rb, I will keep an eye out for your message. Thanks Leo
