In case you hadn't heard yet, Airtasker has officially launched in Manchester and we're spending a lot of time in the city - so I want to unearth the city's hidden gems while I'm here! Where are the best places to visit in Manchester? We've been asking around, but now want to find Manchester's top 5 things to see, visit and experience. We're thinking quirky, secret and awesome! We'll pay someone £150 to give us a definitive list of the five best places to see, then to take us around for the day to experience them. We'll pay the £150 and cover any expenses on the day too! To apply, just 'make an offer' detailing your number one best pick, and let us know why we should pick you for the task!

I have an Uber account so we can zip around to the best places, the first of which is the cat cafe! It’s wonderful and lovely and a great experience for any animal lover. I’m sure we would all be happy to stay until close if I didn’t have other great ideas! I’m a great host and very chatty as you can probably already tell.

I’ve lived in Manchester for around 14 years and know quite a few unusual and interesting places to go. I’ve listed five below, but can suggest more. - Richmond tea rooms, bloom st. Alice in wonderland themed tea rooms with cakes, tea and light lunch meals. (They do a special event once or twice per month with people in drag and costume as characters: Mad Hatters Tea Party....though this is not on the date specified on the ad) - Circus Tavern: Smallest pub in Europe. - John Rylands Library: Beautiful gothic architecture and history/art shows sometimes. - Manchester Craft and Design Centre: Hidden away in the Northern Quarter, it has a selection of unique artists and craftspeople under one roof with quaint little stores/work units. - Temple Bar, just off oxford road: Underground Bar that used to be a public convenience. I run a wood Craft business myself, but happy to take some time out from work for this.

I love to drive and I am kind of a travel love exploring

I moved to Manchester for university in 2011 and never left! I’m still finding new gems. My favourite by far is the John Rylands library in the city centre. Just off the hustle and bustle of the deansgate bars and shops this old gothic building stands the test of time. Currently owned by the university of Manchester, but open to the public and students alike and free to enter! I have many other favourite places in Manchester and would love the opportunity to show you my favourites in my second home. Other noteworthy places - Afflecks palace and Altrincham market and grub weekly food festival for the foodies amongst you!
