Ever since I was a really young child, there has been this one dish that I have always been pretty passionate about: Penne Quattro Formaggi. It’s become a very important dish to me as it’s connected to the only memories I have left of my family being united, back when my parents were still together. I was fortunate enough to live in a small Belgian town where the only two Italian restaurants were able to make that dish extremely well. Over the years, I have travelled near and far and have tested many a restaurant where they would serve the dish. To my disappointment, there has not been too many places able to replicate the standards I was used to in my childhood and teenage years. Having recently moved to London and not being familiar with the Italian restaurant scene, I would love to find someone with the same passion for pasta and cheese as I have. This person who could go around town for me to test out some of the best Italian restaurants there are, whether they’re well-known or not. I really want the ability to go down memory lane, eating the perfect mix of penne and cheese one can find in London. List of restaurants to test out: - Matarello - Locanda Locatelli - Artusi - Emilia’s Crafted Pasta - Bonus: surprise me In addition to testing the different places, I would like you to take a very nice photo at each location. It can be the food, it can be a selfie or else—get creative! Whether or not you go down the selfie route, you'd agree for me to use the content on social media to show your accomplishments! *offer includes the tasting of the pasta. **I will, of course, be trying the winning place

"Katrina is an absolute legend—she went way above and beyond of what I was expecting her to do! Thanks to her, I now have the most excellent reviews for 5 of the best Italian restaurants in London. Definitely recommend her for any food-tasting tasks one can think of!"
"Damien is friendly and such a great 'task master'! I really enjoyed the designated task and he made the expectations and instructions really clear to understand! Thanks Damien, what a lucky person I am to have helped out with a dreamy pasta task :)"
Ciao Damien! I haven't met you, but I know that we share one of the world's greatest things, the love for fine Italian pasta. How on Earth do the Italians manage to create an entirely new meaning for the word: delicious? I am lucky enough to have attended an Italian Cooking course with two Michelin Star Chefs. We went Truffle Hunting and cooked 3 course meals each day (not so great for the waistline but my god it was good). Picture proof: truffle ravioli I created from scratch. So I would be happy to put my knowledge and experience to the test and combine my love of Italian pasta and cheese to the test for you. At the risk of sounding like an absolute cliche, I also love to take photos and write which is another reason why I'd love to help you out with this task.
Hi Katrina, I have to say the photo of truffle ravioli you posted got me quite hungry and curious. Are you free this Thursday to potentially perform the task?
Hi Damien, why thank you and I can assure you it was quite the ordeal. I never appreciated how much work goes into one single packaged piece of cheesey pasta. (Or how large the rolling pins really are)! Yes I'm free this Thursday and would be delighted to taste test/ photograph etc.
Hey Katrina, still up for the challenge here? If so, I'll assign the task to you and were can discuss the details via messages next. How does that sound to you?
Hey Damien, Game on - challenge accepted so please message me. Thanks so much - we will find the pasta you're after!
Ciao Damien, I would be happy to share this emotional tour with you looking for the best Penne ai Quattro Formaggi in London! I grew up making fresh pasta with my mum and granny and they gave me their love for cooking. I am very passionate about food and I like sharing my traditions. I used to be a food tour guide in Rome, I like meeting new people to show the best of the Italian cuisine and if you are disappointed with the Italian restaurants in London, I would be happy to cook this special dish for you!
I'm free Thursday to perform this task and personally my favourite is stuffed tortellini but never say no to a good lasagna or q-formaggi! Let me know so we can arrange this, stuffing myself on pasta and antipasti is my fave hobby! simply delisicio!
What a coecidence. I am not offering to do this task but I was very much thinking to take my 3 teenagers to Emilia's Crafted Pasta for a very special treat. I know my youngest will want Quattro Formaggi and I beg her for a taste of I will not have same. I can write you a little review. I have no special recommendention for my pasta knowledge except that I consider dried pasta vile, if I would have to cook dried pasta I would go for De Cecco, secret is in sauce and I will gladly babysit one of my friends babies for his spaghetti Bolognese.
For the love of Italian food of course! Allow me to put my knowledge of Italian dining and my passion for pasta to the test to ensure that you will take a trip back down memory lane.
