I need to replace a gas oven stove with an electric one so I need the gas pipe to be capped and the wiring and the socket to be installed to connect the electric cooker. The electric cooker has no wire connected.

You need gas Safe engineer for capping. And Qualified electrician for cooker wiring. Do you have a cooker switch on the wall. If not you will need a new circuit installed from your fuse box/ consumer unit. Depending on the type of cooker you install will change the breaker size, 30 to 50 Amp is the norm.
