2metres something. not really high, I go to the top in a 3 step ladder.
And i assume the cables ate already there?

yes. I wanted to do it myself but I have more cables in the ceiling than holes on the lamp that I bought.
Can do for 70, i get to keep 40 out of it. Less doesnt work out.
