Sorry for the delay Danny, the emails went into my junk!! I also wanted the option of having the fan on without the lights, would it be much trouble to fit an occupancy sensor just for the fan? So that can be on even if the light isn’t? Or wouldn’t you recommend that?

Yes you can have that too of course. You may want the fan without switching on the lights so totally up to you. Danny

And would you recommend having the exit of the fan tube in the soffit just outside the bathroom?

Hi Craig, yes that’s correct. Will use power from the current lights and air will be extracted outside.

Hi Danny, thanks for the quick response. Yes it’s a plasterboard ceiling and I suppose would either go through that and out into the soffit or through the wall? I have spotlights in the room so guess you could use the power from those?
