Water lands on brickwork of my flats front room! Coming in air vent. Slowly subsiding victorian house converted in to three separate flats. I'm first floor and the water, which has to be observed coming down from the top of the house first on a really rainy day (or won't find problem) has now soaked through brick work. Damp specialists have asked me to fix cause of leak before they treat, or will just have to be done again (being expensive) as I am on a low income. I have alright relations with the man upstairs but he doesn't like to come back much and lives with his partner far away. Please make sure that the person going to do the job is near enough + flexible enough to attend in heavy rain ideally so that they can really get any idea of what is actually going on. There is a concrete bin area structure where the bottom of the ladder would normally go in front garden so the ladder will have to be extra long and stable enough to climb two floors of high ceiling property/house to the top, from the pavement beyond the front garden wall, to avoid.
