I bought a new mattress but I can't seem to move it up into the loft bedroom. I have tried very hard with two friends but the angle of the loft stairs makes it very difficult. I think the mattress needs to be folded to some extent in order to move it upstairs. Elasticated cord/rope would help to hold it in a folded position.
