Hi I am professional cleaner with my own equipment. I also specialise in cleaning stone flooring. Can you tell me how long the oil stain has been on the floor because is important in terms of the absorption of the oil into the stone. Also what kind of stone is it if I may ask? The quick you clean it the better because the longer the oil is left it may not come out in it goes to deep into stone. If it has not been there to long I have specialist cleaning stuff to loosen the oil and pull it out of the stone.

Hi there, picture posted- and currently open to all quotes- 50 was just a random figure as the website wouldn't allow me to leave a blank! Thanks!

To be honest many factors matter here and i probably wouldn't take this job on a price, but i used to clean various stones, even very porous and expensive ones, from oil with baking powder, you have to lightly wet the oiled area, or soak it with water and let it dry a bit, then pour soda over it, leave for few hours, longer the better, then clean it all up, and repeat this until stains are barely seen, then go with some sort of stone oil stain cleaning chemical over the whole area several times as per instruction. What baking soda does is that it sucks up the oil from the stone into itself. Heard people use mineral oil instead of water, but i used just water. Worked pretty well, but its quite lengthy process that require unknown number of applications so its hard to quote.

How long ago did it happen?

and keep in mind that chemicals to do that might cost more than your offer
