Hi, My partner and I are visiting from Australia on a trip around the UK and would love for someone to plan us a perfect midweek 3-4 day adventure (We'll probably arrive on Tuesday). We're always on the lookout for quirky fun things to do and thought getting a local’s expertise would be a great way to start. Bonus points for including elements of Goth culture, Paganism, Nordic Myths, etc. I’d like to keep the budget of these places fairly reasonable - so nothing too ridiculously out of pocket please :) We'll be coming in by train and probably staying in an AirBnB near the centre of the city, meaning public transport, walking and the occasional uber rule the roost so nothing too far out of the city limits thanks! Please provide your favourite of the following: - Killer spots for breakfast - maybe in an interesting location, somewhere with an amazing view, with something delicious etc - Scottish pub with quirky decor and craft beers - At least one Interesting museum - A Small art gallery - focusing on local artists - A Building with an interesting story or just dripping with history - A random thing you love to do in Edinburgh - A Beautiful park to read a book together - Somewhere obscenely scenic - Optionally: something scenically obscene

New!

Hey Alex, I have lived in Scotland for most of my life and studied history at university in Edinburgh, so if you are into historical and cultural holidays then I can definitely advise! I have also spent a lot of time at coffee and lunch spots in Edinburgh! I do quite a bit of travelling and could put together a full itinerary with transport etc or a more general must-do list if you prefer to be more flexible. Let me know if you would like to talk further. Camille :)
