To eat at Vegan restaurants

Can recommend Vegan restaurants across the UK, but particularly London, Manchester and Edinburgh. Have a varied cuisine selection and happy to pitch which ones are best and why - and at every price point.

I am widely travelled and have experienced a wide variety of cuisines from French, Italian and Irish to Brazilian, Korean and North and South America. I am a media student at Goldsmiths, specialising in TV and Journalism and I enjoy being creative. I have experience writing opinion pieces in my Journalism module, which I believe will contribute towards a successful piece of writing on this task. Although I am not vegan, I have tried lots of vegan foods before and do enjoy trying new things. As an open-minded individual who is not afraid to try anything and speak my mind, I can offer a fully truthful opinion.

Hello, ABOUT ME: - I am a Wildlife Biologist and Environmentalist and currently based at the Zoological Society of London (I work from home). - I recently graduated from the Royal Veterinary College with a Master’s degree in wild Animal Biology. - I am an extremely passionate vegan and have been vegan now for two years. I have focused the majority of my work on the impact that agriculture has on our wildlife and environment. For example, I conducted a study on the gidgee skink, a lizard whose populations are dramatically declining due to habitat destruction for agricultural sites, and this paper was recently submitted for publication. - I also give talks at numerous vegan festivals around the UK; I recently gave at talk at the Viva! Vegan Festival in London on the ‘Impact of Agricultural on Fresh Water Ecosystems’. - I love cooking and tasting new vegan foods. It all changed for me back when I turned vegan in 2016 and I started to really appreciate the flavour and spices of food, as they were no longer overpowered by meat and dairy. - I would consider myself to be very truthful and will give my honest opinion about any vegan food that I taste. - I think this is a really exciting opportunity and I would love to contribute to such a great food industry. I have been Vegan for a few years now and it opened my eyes to a world of new foods, it inspired me to cook and get creative with ingredients.
