Hi there I am looking for a tasker with painting experience and skills. Need to start painting tomorrow in Hackey, London. We are transforming an industrial space into a commercial kitchen in London. This month we’re turning our new empty warehouse into beautiful co-working space for us and 7 other food and drink teams. The unit is 1300sq ft in size and it’s currently empty, the perfect blank canvas for some creative Taskers. The Task: The first task we have is painting the walls and floor of the unit. We will provide all materials for this task and they will be waiting for you when you arrive on site. This involves: - Poly filler to make some small cracks in the walls good - Painting the walls white - Laying a resin coat onto the floor - Leaving it to set for 4 days then returning to finish - Painting a mezzanine and a small snug space underneath the mezzanine (3mx3m) - Removing a small carpet on the mezzanine and painting the floor.

Hello Eccie how high are the ceilings? Are the walls all one colour? And is there any woodwork involved?
Hi the ceilings are about 3m, we have a tower and ladders to make things super easy. We'll provide all the paint and yes it's one colour.
What's currently on the walls and what paint you got?
Walls are clean, painted white currently and they are free from wall hangings and furniture. We have two paints, both dulux, one white and one pink. All walls are in a fairly good condition but there are a few small nicks that may require polyfiller
There is no wood work involved
So it's two colours? What's the floor paint? A 2 part knock up system or all ready mixed? And what's your desired completion date, when's handover?
The reason I ask is if time is at a premium it may be best to get the resin down and smash the rest early next week.
The floor is a resin coat, so yes you're right might be better to get that down and do the rest once it's dry in 3 days time. The floor has recently been pressure washed so it's clean and clear. The paint is ready mixed. We'd like to get it done as soon as possible, early next week is ok to finish by.
