Its a large wall going up the stairs - so the highest point is 3.5m but the skirting board curves up the wall - see photos attached. If i segment the wall into two areas (the high walled part and the lower walled part) - then the measurements are: High walled part - 3.5m in height and 2.5m in width Low walled part - 1.8m in height and 0.8m in width

Can you post a photo of the wall please. Is the wall in good state of repair...is filling required in holes and cracks along with sanding? Is the wall already stripped of the old paper or is it a painted wall to which the wallpaper is going on?
