Hi, Part of the frame on our sash window has started to rot, I initially started to think I could fix it with filler but as I removed the rot realised this need to be spliced. It's 3rd floor so work has to be carried out from the inside of the flat. As it needs to be spliced we also need the window painted. To be clear - is like the whole window painted, frame and both sashes. My husband's father is a carpenter, though located in Wales, but he has assessed and said it should be ok to splice and to do the work from inside of the flat. Thanks, Erica

Hiya Erica, A wood splice would be used. I would look to to dry the wood using a paint dryer. Then use the hardener Fill in any inaccessible bits mould sand down. Apply wood. Apply filler to get rid of any joints sand down and paint.
